Picked up some M855 on stripper clips in cardboard boxes at Camp Perry. Anybody have any info on this ammo? Hopefully pics follow:

How much was it? How where the boxes packed? Do they have any more? Nice find.hug.gif

The ammo was packed in the small bandolier cardboard boxes; 30 rounds per box. It was a little pricey at $254/900 rounds. Still at least 12 boxes left. The guy was in the same building on commercial row as DPMS. I figure I might put this stuff away.

Do you possibly have any contact info for the seller by chance? With the strippers and bando boxes I feel this is a pretty fair deal on new production ammo. I would be curious as to were the seller aquired this. If I was you this would go straight into 7 bandos and 840rds. in a can never to see light again unless needed and the other 60 downrange for function and reliability purposes. Good find.hug.gif

I checked with him when I bought the ammo. He doesn't ship ammo at all, said he sells over the counter only. Probably should have got 1800 rounds but spent money at Bushmaster, DPMS, and Fulton Armory for other stuff.
The receipt says Fin, Feather, Fur (419) 281-2557. Not absolutely sure about the 1 in the 281 but all the other numbers are readable.
