Hi all.  I am going to do a build for a friend of mine and I am not sure what she is talking about ordering is going to work together.  I wanted to get your oppinions before she spent her 'Economic Stimulus' on something she can't use.  She wants to use the Troy Folding front sight below on the receiver below.  It appears that the hand guard will prevent the sight from folding all the way flat to me.  Thoughts?

I guess I should have added that the sight is a Troy and the uppers is a Stag Model 3H Pre-Ban.

Just an uninformed question, but why couldn't the front sight be mounted 180 degrees out so that it fold forward instead?????

That exact sight is WRONG. You need the version for gas block height mounting, not rail height.

If you get the flip front sight for gas blocks it should fit perfectly.
