Planning on building an SBR. Debating between a 10.5 and 11.5. Will an AA can install OK on 10.5 LMT? Will I need to remove the fsb? I read somewhere that there wasn't enough barrel beyond the fsb to install the AA fs.

Depends which model you're looking at. I believe the following AAC suppressors will fit on a barrel of at least 10.5" inches in length (with standard FSB): SCAR-SD, 416-SD, M4-2000 Mod 07. This is by no means an all inclusive list, as I'm certain I've missed a few, but I hope it gives you a general idea.

Might I suggest you seek assistance in the suppressor forum?

Hope this helps.

Justin

Well, I'm a jackass for not going to the suppressor board. Been on ARFcom since '03 and never noticed it. Thanks

The suppressor forum is a newish development.

I suggest you contact AAC via email and save the email with their response. Some manufacturers do not warranty cans on 10.5s and a paper trail is always a good thing.

You can run the M4-2000 or the SCAR SD. I run the M4-2000 on my LMT 10.5 and it works great. With the suppressor mounted it is the same length as a 16" carbine.
