I have the 1700 and yeah I think you might be able to get 2 in it without the mags in.  1 A2 - 1 A3 or 2 A3's . I doubt 2 A2's would fit . I bought mine used and it was already cut out for my type of AR so I left it alone.

Check out www.swrmfg.com, go to the "Contact" page, and check it out.  It certainly gave me some ideas.

I'm sure it is a 1700, E-mail me, and I can send you a pic of my setup, or if someone will post it for me, I will get it to them.

They'll fit, if one of them is a shorty (stock too).

I actually use the case to carry only one rifle. I cut out the middle part for the AR-10T. It works quite nicely for that.

If that's a Pelican it looks like the 1750. It's around 50" long inside. The 1700 is around 36" inside in lenght.  Nice set-up  you have.

I've used exacto knifes and razors, but the most effective, cleanest cut comes from an electric carving knife.

The pic above that Chris posted is of my setup. (Thanks for posting it Chris) I used a steak knife with serrations to cut it out.  I figured out how I wanted everything, then, flipped the foam over, traced it from the back, and cut it from the back.  I think it came out great.  It doesn't look like it in the pic, but everything is recessed in the foam.  Again, thanks Chris for posting it for me!

Nice CAR

How do you like that Vltor Stock ?

Thanks,

I got a 1750 ordered for my boltgun - that's exactly how I'm setting it up.  Serrated steak knife, huh?

I LOVE the VLTOR stock.  I keep my reduced sized ATF paperwork for my suppressor in one side, and batteries in the other.  QS, the serrated steak knife worked very well.  I just took my time, and cut a little at a time.  I didn't cut through the whole thing at once, I just used the tip of the knife to cut through a few "layers" at a time.  I would be more than willing to let you look at it in person if interested, or help you cut yours when you get it.

That'd be cool.  I don't want to fuck the foam up...I can order replacements through work but...you know.

I didn't even know my office was a dealer for that stuff until the other day - that's what precipitated the order.  Under $200 shipped for the 1750 was hard to beat.

Yeah, that is a good price.  I got my case from a gent at work who was a former Columbia, MO police officer.  He kept his HK G-36K in the case.  I had to buy some replacement foam for it.  I think I still have the foam that was cut for the G-36.  Man that is a cool weapon, and he misses it badly.  QS, anytime you want to get together is cool with me.  I realize that i have talked some trash about a local dealer to you, but I'd like to get past that.  Besides, we are both into the same thing SUPPRESSED WEAPONS!!!!!  Let me know.
