Does anyone know if the ring cap and channel sight that goes on top of the #22 rings would clear the elevation knob in the Leupold M3 LR? The M3 is the one with the lower profile adjustment knobs.
A.R.M.S. wasn't sure, but said I could return them if they didn't. I eye balled the pics in the catalog, it appears that they might, but thought I would ask.

I have a TRR - I am not sure how much the TRS is above the TRR - looking at the ARMS catalogue it would appear to be very similar if not identical in height for the 'channel'

Anyway here is a M3LR w/ TRC and TRR

In short I woudl guess it won't work...

Kevin, You had to show a pic[>(] The M3 is going to be my Christmas present, now I wish it was that time!
Nice pic, The TRS as you know has the  see through channel and the "V" notch. I see the channel won't clear, It doesn't look good for the notch either. Any ideas?
I was planning for this on my 700 LTR, I can't wait now for the M3.
I don't have any experience with the TRR, does a NVD go on there?

Mark,

You can mount a SIMRAD via the TRR - however there is beter NV out, so the TRR is a good spot for an Optima or Dr Optic Mini Red Dot as a CQB Oh-Shit back up.

I doubt the V Notch would be visible too.

They have been issued to give the ability to put a close in work red dot optic over a ten power optic, or a doc optic, laser etc. if and when needed.
Good shootin, Jack

Jack and/or Kevin, Has this set up been used on bolt guns? Not a "CQB" stick, but for "closer" shots, like movers, etc?

It wouldn't make a dif. if it's a bolt gun or not, unless you go above 7.62, then I wouldn't, do to they were not designed for more than 7,62 in the recoil aspect.
Good shootin, Jack

Neil, Ok, now I'm really broke! Anyone need a Kidney? Just when you think you are getting towards the end of the want list, you realize there's a second page.

That is one nice rig there! I plan to upgrade mine with a Krieger and the M3 later on.

I appreciate the pics and help!

Jack, How about a hole digging Shepard/Lab mix?
I guess it adds to the fun of it all. A few more part time details and I'll be there.

Bah, I dont need anyone first born. If I had any kids there's no way I could afford any of this! I have since put the lower Harries bi-pod on the gun with the pod-loc, and moved the whole scope system back one more rail. Other than that, this is equals my SIR + TA31 carbine as my favorite gun...

Im building a new SPRgery as we speak. I just dont know where the money is going to come from to get it done. This one will not be as all out as the above pictured one, but it will be pretty whicked/different.

Jack, Male four months old-with no nuts! that didn't calm his tail down one bit. Since he's my 6yo son's pup, they go together!

I got it, does the Aimpoint mount's half spacer have the same hole spacing? [headbang]
