Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Wil large pin Armalite upper fit LP Colt lower?

Topic says it all!  I might have a line on a large pin Armalite A3 upper.  Will it fit my large pin Colt lower?

One website I found said the Colt hole is .316" and the Armalite hole is .315", do they index at the same spot?

Close enough?  If it won;t work, can the Armalite be opened up to fit, or would that be a decidedly bad idea what with the anodizing being reamed out of the hole and all?
