I'm just curious since these are frequently on sale for $6.99 while it's competitors are never for sale under $10 even when you buy bulk? I have five of these mags that I bought with some ammo and they seem to run flawlessly with the included magpul followers. The reason I bring this up is I've considered trying okay industries and Brownells aluminium mags but they are always more expensive.

Teflon instead of anodized maybe?

All of the D&H I have purchased in the last year have had dry film lube on them and run just fine with the thousands of rounds I have shot, in fact I am going to be selling all of my Magpuls and Troy mags, that are brand new because I don't find the need for them.

The only thing I can figure is volume... They are great mags.

I neither know,  nor care.

What I do know is that they work and I have over 100 of them.

All I know is they work and thats all I care about. Why pay more for when something works just as good and half the price.

This,  I think they are so cheap because they are no longer suppliers to the US Government. They are all that I buy...

The D&H and okay's I have used over the last 24 years have all functioned fine never 1 issue I can remember. That being said I don't know what it is about them but when loading the okay's the rounds always seem to "snap" in when loading them. I loaded 15 mags today and the D&H mags the rounds just push in quietly while the okay's each round clicks when it seats.

According to their website they are: "HARDCOAT ANODIZE WITH PTFE COATING".

I bought some FDE ones a while back.  Great mags, but I can scrape the finish off with my fingernail.
