Oops, sorry. The upper and lower receiver, and barrel were KG coated OD. |

Steve,
When I read about people painting their precision rifles that have scopes and what not, I often find that most prefer to mount the scope in the rings/base, and then mount that to the receiver, because an uneven application of paint could throw off their scope. With KG, is this necessary? |

KG goes on so thin, that isnt an issue at all, THICKNESS Maximum = .0003 to .0004 +- .0001 |
