I know Wes makes some great ones at MSTN, but which is your favorite barrelled upper? J-T, M&A, Model 1, etc?

I'm looking for a pre-ban 16" upper.

Try Steve at ADCO also.  I'm getting a RRA 16" Midlength Pre-Ban from him that hes going to convert to Post-Ban for me.  Quoted about $400.  Worth checking out!

Buster,
What did Pete build for you(specifications)? What kind of a turn around does he have?

I think Fulton Armory makes some of the nicest uppers.

Pete built me the one that is in the EE now and it is a work of art . 16inch m4 type chrome lined ,fake flash hider ,flat top .Eats any ammo I feed it and is very accurate.I put it on one of his US property lowers with a NM trigger . It has an arms #40 and a 551 EOtech it is my go to AR .I have to say PETE is great to deal with .I understand he is a little backed up now from one of my friends who after shooting mine ordered one .Call him it will be worth the wait .

RRA, Bush, DPMS, Oly in that order.

Of course, that is completely offhand.  Since you didn't say what you were trying to achieve.... super spacegun, sub moa shooter,  blaster, etc.  That would have some impact as well.

tommy at gpss hooked me up with mine... shoots where you aim it, and fit and finish are excellent... its an m4 with a "muzzle appliance" that looks like an a2 flash hider, but is neither a flash hider nor a muzzle brake... its just there for looks, but its pretty slick... reciever is flat top, and is numbered... im very pleased...
