My neighbor's son just got a Mini- Who carries the rail for an EOtech to be mounted. I know I have read more than one post on it. Is there more than one manufacturer of these?

Ultimak

There are others available that are simply a short rail that replaces the top half of the gas block... But they're still about $50, and not nearly as versatile.

Do a search for "Mini-14 Scout Mount" on "Google" and you'll find a few different manufacturers.

If I had a Mini14 I would get this:

Amega Ranges Scout Rail

Looks kinda chunky to me... And I've not heard of that company...

The Ultimak and a Yankee Hill angle mount from Bright Flashlights would do the same thing with less material.

Weigand Combat also makes a mount for the Mini-14.

You might be too high for cheek weld with the rail and EO. I tried a EO with my Weigand rail and did not get cheek weld, put regular scope on it and it's fine.
