i got mine from AR 15 sales over in the EE.

EE link

$639 shipped.

I will tell you that inventory is hit or miss. I ordered mine and he said it was in stock but took 2 weeks to get it to me. But it was worth the wait.

I'm not trying to talk you out of a 458 , but have you looked into a 450 BM. I bought a upper for $550 and I love it.If your interested try Budsgunshop.com. They may have a 458 too.

Try finding ammo....

Ammo is easy to find in my room, I got all the cases, powders, bullets, primers, and dies needed to load up just about any .458 SOCOM round conceivable. Never did get around to playing with sabots though..

Got mine at JSE Surplus, very nice people to deal with.  Ammo is pricey, but I have been working up some cast bullet loads which brings the price of ammo way down.  Well, at least if I do not loose too many cases!
