Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - White Oak Rear Sight Inserts

Just received a new WOA DCM upper for my RRA lower project. Rear sight hoods look like they are notched for removal with a AR front sight tool. Mine doesn't fit so well. Any thoughts?

Yep, use the coins.  Ensure that you aren't crossthreading the insert.  Then it costs more than a penny.
