I thought there was a thread before, but I couldn't find it. I want the 1.5" diamter suppressor to slide into the forearms system for the "SD" look on a 9mm AR upper I am about to build. I never see specs on web sites for id's, so anyone know what forearms have enough clearence to go over top ofa 1.5" diameter supressor?

Are you sure you need 1.5 inch? If you do you are going to be significantly limited. The YHM will defintely work but I doubt you will find many more options. My SWR Trident is 1.4" in diamenter and a DD rail works perfectly. I tried just about every other rail including Knights and they don't work.

Well yeah, since my suppressor is 1.5" YHM is very good quality, and that's what I will probably use. Thanks.

First off I meant to be helpful. I just went thru the same exercise. The reason I asked was to make sure you weren't rounding up because .1 inch makes a difference. I really wanted to use a Samson and it would have worked if my suppressor was .1 inch smaller. My suppressor is 1.4 inch and a DD works but yours at 1.5" won't.

I wonder how thick the material on the DD tube is.... I could always bore out a few thou's....lol... But probably not a good idea. I was hoping to try something different, as I have used a few YHM tubes before. They are machined ery well though...
