Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Which optic for my SDM-R clone?

Well, my SDM-R clone is complete with one exception.....the optic.  I know that an ACOG would be the correct optic to mount and I was going to go with the TA01NSN.  My main use will be for fun at the range.....the longest range in my area is 100 yards, but I hope to find somewhere to shoot out to 300-500 yards as well.  What would you guys recommend?

TA31 Series.  The BAC and illumination really help for shots up close and the 4x magnification will be plenty out to 300.  With practice the 4x will suit you fine out to 500 when using the BDC stadia lines.
