Hey folks -

I am about to purchase my next AR, and I'm trying to decide on which one to get. I thought I would throw it open here for some input.

A little history on what I own or have owned:
• RRA 20" A2 No-Ban - Currently, my only AR - (I bought this as a clone of what I carried in the Marine Corps).
• Busmaster 11.5"/5.5" A2 - Sold this one.
• Eagle Arms/DPMS Dissipator A3 - Sold this one.
• RRA Entry Tactical - Traded this one off.

In deciding on a new AR, I've narrowed down what I want to the following two choices:

M4 A3 14.5" Clone (w/ Permanent Phantom) w/ removable carry-handle

-or-

14.5" or 16" A3 with low-profile gas-system, full-length railed forearm, flip-up front & rear sights, MIAD grip, and Magpul Precision Stock....
Leaning towards 16" since the stock will make this a medium range accuracy setup.

I'll be buying the rifle over time, so cost isn't an issue....the only factor is that the more it costs, the more time it will take to acquire...no big deal though.

Whichever one I decide to go with, It will probably end up with an ACOG.

 I would go with option #2 and  the 16" , I'm working on a similar build now.
