If you must go with Model 1, step up to the chrome lined barrel for $35 more, you won't regret it. I personally prefer either Bushmaster or Colt.

Do the bushmaster 20" Govt profile - you'll have about a pound off the HBAR weight. If you order from bushmaster, make sure to explicitly say you want the flash hider installed unless you want to do it yourself.

The barrel from M1S won't come with the delta ring or spring, sling swivel + rivet, or the post sight/detent/detent spring. You add all those little parts up and you might as well get quality Bushy with true govt. profile and chrome lining for a little bit more. |
