Which is better, 500 lumens weapon light for 30 mins or 125 lumens for 60 mins?

I like the idea of super bright weapon light but 30 mins seems just a bit too short.

Let's heard your opinions and why...

my surefire m96 works fine for my uses, 125 for an hour.

125 will blind my ass, 500 won't set me on fire, I vote for the longer battery life

30 minutes is plenty of time for a weapon light for most people that are not using it everyday.

I would go with a 125 that I could switch to 250. 500 is going to be a lot of light for a house sized area, too much in my opinion. So for all situations, I would opt for the 125.

Why are you limiting your selection to those Surefire Products? Why not something like 180 lumens for 1.5 hours in a 6V sized package?
