Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Which .308 AR for DMR type rifle?

I want to make a DMR type rifle. I would like to spend under 1500 for the rifle itself. I would like barrel to be chrome lined so Bushmaster is out. I would also like something that could accept a FF rail system thats not ARMS. Any suggestions? I am leaning towards AR10 but havnt found any rails besides ARMs that fit a full length......

Nah I already have an M1A, I want to make an AR style DMR. But without the millions of dollars for a knights one.
