I've been using FP-10 for years without complaint but after seeing all the positive comments about SLIP 2000, I thought I'd try it. I'm about to place an order with Brownell's but they list "Gun Lube" and "Extreme Weapons Lube" Which is the better choice for AR-15s.

Thanks

EWL is what you need.

I use the regular Slip2000 but alot of people use the EWL. I can only speak from what I have used but I like it and its good stuff. Go ahead and get the 725 cleaner also, good stuff.

I've used both and I like the regular slip better than the EWL. To be honest tho, I cant remember why I like it better cause its been so long, I just remember that I like it

Thanks for the replies. I'll be ordering EWL and 725 tomorrow.

I think the slip 2000 is intended as more of a CLP and the EWL is just lube.

Nope, Just read my EWL container. It is a cleaner too.

EWL = lubricant, protectant, cleaner. I'm very satisfied with this product and planning on trying the 725 as soon as I use up my current supply of cleaner.

The 725 cleans carbon fouling far and away better them most cleaners on the market. Use it in the bore and after it is clean you need a copper solvent because the 725 does not remove copper. All Slip 2000 lubes are top quality, try a few and decide which works best for you. I like the regular Slip CLP and the EWL and EWL 50 for a light grease type lube.
