I am itchin to by an ACOG but there are no stores around here that stock them so I can look at/fondle and compare them. I will be using this on a 14.5" LMT upper... I think I also need the BDC so which models does that narrow it down to ?

Thanks

TA01NSN

but it's a bit "slower" to use compared to other Acogs since it lacks of BAC but the reticle is very nice

Whats BAC ? And also whats the deal with some ACOGS you shoot with both eyes open and some with just one eye ?

Bindon Aiming Concept. Basically with both eyes open with a lit reticle your brain will naturally focus on the clearer image. While you are moving and the scope is blurred your non-magnified view will take precedence. When you acquire a target and stop moving the magnified view will take over.

Short eye relief does take some getting accustomed to, but overall this is a quality optic.

You also might consider a TA-11F.
