Just have someone spin some for you (who every has a lathe close to you).
.154 is normal, and if you wanted to go for a no-gauge, then something in the .158 range with a taper tip so you can at at least get the check gauge pin started in the channel and if it did not go through, would dare to say that the channels are still fine..
As for it you did get a semi receiver that the channels where way out or egged, then there is always saving the receiver by drilling the Channels .170 and just installing an old colt style FCG.
P.S. just for the record, the pins should spin in the receiver channel holes. It's when the holes are way egged out and causing safety/disco/firing problems due to the channels alone, that you may want to think of changing the hole sizes/FCG out to a .170 colt unit.
