Try Botach Tactical. They had 1200 rnds of IMI 193 for $189.00 deliveded. That's $157.50 per 1000 rnds. IMI 193 is exactly the same as Winchester Q3131A. In fact Q3131A is made by Israeli Military Industries (IMI) for Winchester. You won't be disappointed.

Bulk usually means a pallet at a time; that's 80-100 cases per. If you want bulk via mail order, check with J&G Sales as they have shipping discounts for 100,000+ rounds. Century also has a decent discount on shipping if you're getting bulk. If you don't have a loading dock, make sure to specify tail gate service or you'll be unloading the pallets one case at a time.

Just out of curiosity, what problems have you had with AIMSurplus? I've ordered a ton of stuff from them lately and the service has been great. I just got a shitload of 30.06 from them, on Garand clips in bandoliers, for .19 per round with shipping.

KA headstamped stuff is corrosive. If it was PS, it is non-corrosive. I bought 500 rds from J&G and it was the PS in boxes. I bought a bandolier of the KA at a funshow last weekend and pulled the bullets. Loaded the bullets and powder into new cases and shot it up. Worked fine, just not the most accurate stuff out there. I decapped the KA brass and reprimed with new primers for loading later on. I had one primer that wouldn't budge and the decapping pin went all the way through, but no problems other than that. I go REALLY slow on the downstroke when depriming live primers. Never had a problem.
If you shoot KA or any corrosive ammo, clean accordingly, oprod and gas cylinder included. |

Sonofabitch. No way I'm feeding corrosive ammo to the Garand. That stuff's going back.
I just looked at the flyer again, and the stuff from the Poong San Metal Company (PS headstamp) is advertised as "NON-CORROSIVE". It doesn't say either way about the stuff I bought, from the Korean Arms Company. That sucks. Most places will at least let you know what you're buying. AIMSurplus just dropped a couple notches in my book. |
