I don't really feel like scrolling through the entire list of retailers above, in which I have to search their site as well. Quite a bit of links. So if you guys don't mind, where can I get the best deal? IMing me is fine.

Also, what length of rod do I want to get for my 16" M4 that will have adequette clearance through the action and out the muzzle?

Why does it say 308 under the AR15/M16 link? Can you send a direct link? Doesn't look like they have length choices either

I bought Dewey rods from my local gunshop a few years ago.You can also buy directly from Dewey.

I usually find the best prices at Lock, Stock & Barrel <http://www.lockstock.com/>, but I'd recommend getting a Bore Tech rod there instead - the double bearings in the handle are much better than the single bearing in a Dewey.

IMHO you don't need a fancy coated rod. Just get an ordinary Aluminum or Brass rod and you will be fine. My reasoning for this answer (see my post with the pic near the bottom of the page).

Come on I gotta order it before someone else does :)

I don't plan on putting it in a buttstock but will it work well?

Oh well, I went ahead and purchased it.
