It looks like the image has been mirrored. Everything is on the wrong side ... look at the bolt release.

That's a reversed negative. Your looking at the side opposite all fwd. assists. The bolt catch/release latch is on the side in the picture, its a regular A2 upper, just the side opposite the assist/ejection port. sorry. /S2

I feel stupid now. All of the other ARs facing in that direction had the assists and deflectors, I just assumed to fast. Didn't look close enough

you could do that with a RRA 9mm A2 stripped upper. then just take the gas deflector off of the ejection port.

There's no ejection port. I'd suggest Hesse! [}:D]

ya but all the left hand uppers sold use a standard right hand forging or casting, only they have a ejectionport machined on the left side and you cant put a ejection port cover on it. I would love to have a left hand weapon like the one pictured with everything reversed, specifically made to be left hand. That way I can buy a matching pair one for my left hand and one for my right. edited to add: if anyone finds out where to get that left hand gun or the recievers IM me I want 1.

ya but the magazine catch is still on the right so you cant hit it with your left trigger finger. The bolt catch is still on the left which means you have to take your left hand off the pistol grip during a reload, (which you should never do) or tilt the gun sideways and slap it from over the top with your right hand. The shell caseings still eject out the right into your chest (or face in prone) which I dont like. You can use a left hand upper but with no ejection port cover your weapon will jam all the time because crap gets on the bolt carrier, into the upper, barrel extencion exc. exc. If you get a KB most of the time the gun will hold together and you'll be alright. If your shooting left handed a shitload of brass shrapnel will come flying out of that ejection port and into your face. Not to mention the compressed gas/fouling that sprays out the port holes in the side of the bolt carrier, and when the empty case ejects almost right in your face during normal shooting.

It's the NEW CALIFORNIA APPROVED AR, doesn't shoot, just looks like an AR.

Yup, its the new FAR, Feinstein AR: Shoots airsoft pellets out of the top barrel and ping pong balls out the bottom one.
