I can't seem to find them on the DPMS or Bushmaster sites. THey must be available somewhere! Any help is greatly appreciated.

What brand FF tube? I'd say that the barrel nuts for them aren't too interchangeable.

I wasn't aware of that. I don't know who the manufacturer is. Is there a standard thread pitch? When you order a FF tube, do they usually come with a nut?

Yes. Can you describe your tube?

Thanks for the help. No, I can't describe it. I don't have it yet. A board member is sending it to me. I posted a WTB ad and he offered it to me free of charge. When it comes, I'll measure the thread pitch. All I know is that it is carbine length and OD green. I'll contact the guy and see if he know what it is.

FWIW, I got a DPMS Tuber tube without the barrel nut. I contacted DPMS and they stated they could not and would not provide me with another. It was an odd ebay buy, where an upper was parted out and some parts went one way and some went another. Luckily, the barrel nut went to an ARFCOM member, who I was able to track down and I bought the barrel nut off of him.

Oh, and like M4 said, there are alot of FF tube barrel nuts out there. Some are interchangable, some are not.

Thanks for your help guys. I emailed the guy who's giving it to me and the barrel nut is included! I have a DPMS free float tube wrench already, do I need anything else to install the barrel nut? I saw Accuracy Speaks sells a universal wrench for the FF barrel nuts, but it is $50!

Yours will probably work. It's one of those situations where you'll just have to wait until it arrives and see. BTW, a standard armorer's wrench worked fine on my LaRue.
