I have seen the 60rnd for sale but I haven't seen the 100rnd Surefire mags anywhere. Are they still making these?

About three days ago I saw a picture of foreign army soldiers stating they had adapted the magazine.

I don't recall who it was for the life of me.

I do recall thinking "So maybe that's where they are going".

ETA: They did a batch of them for general population however they were snatched up quickly.

YMMV

Last time I saw them out in the wild was shortly before Sandy Hook. Haven't seen any since, but I picked up a Beta C Mag and a handful of PMag 40's recently to do the "stick my dick in Feinstein's eye" type thing.

I see plenty of SF 60's, but am waiting for the price to come down significantly again before I would even consider picking one up, especially with PMag 40's selling for $20.
Link Posted: 10/1/2013 9:42:24 AM EST
Yeah I bought a couple beta mags,12 40rnd p-mags and 6 60rnd q stack mags I just want to get a couple q stack 100 rnd mags.

I also wonder if their was something wrong with the 100s ? That's the only reason for them not to be out for sale right now and its been what 10 mos since the Conn shooting happen that's more then enough time to bounce back from panic purchases .

nothing wrong with them, they function GREAT! i have one and would like another if they can be found...
Link Posted: 10/2/2013 8:24:38 AM EST
My experience is the 60's function well with clean ammo. Dirty ammunition seems to cause to much friction inside the magazine and it jams up.

100's have been out for over a year. They were just starting to be in stock & prices were lowering until newton hit.
Hit & miss with reliability. I have 3 of them & they have functioned ok for range mags. I'd never put any real world use into them.

What is the going rate today 10-13-13 for these 100 round mags?Looks like all I can find currently on internet are right at 400.00 each!
Link Posted: 10/13/2013 11:31:47 AM EST
I don't think I will buy at 400.00$ each. I will just wait but really I would have thought they would be out by now?

$400 is just crazy! they retail for like $150-180 when they were available. im glad i found them before they went insane on the price
Link Posted: 10/13/2013 11:42:27 AM EST
the new msrp on them is $199 so they went up since i last saw them. the site says to check with dealers but i havent seen one on a shelf since last year. i feel so lucky now! i snagged 2 of them about a year ago for $160 for the pair from a guy who won them as a door prize and didnt want them. thats as close to hitting the lottery as ill ever get lol

Indonesian SF only.

Very dumb idea, IMHO. Drop that rifle once and you are likely to loose 1/3 of your combat load out.

Man that Really hurts seeing that.

There were early reports of feeding issues with the 100 rounders. From what I remember the 60 rounders didn't have this problem. I picked up two 60's when they first came out and they function great. They definitely don't like to run any kind of steel cased ammo.
