When using an Aimpoint 3X are you suppose to set your zero with it on or off? I'm using it in tandem with my Aimpoint M2.

Just how would you intend to zero it while its off?  Color me confused.

If you have to zero the Aimpoint and the magnifier separately, then whats the point.  My guess is if you already have your Aimpoint zeroed, then you will be good to go using the magnifier.
