Tonight's episode Major Carter dumps her FN P90, and goes with a modified M16! Looks like 10.5" or shorter, free float RIS/RAS fore end with light and verticle grip, solid stock with offhand rear hook (who sells that?),Elcan scope (right?) and a CMAG 100rd drum. It even sounded serious! No PDW when that's all you got! Check it out, tres cool!

I'm pretty sure that was an M2 Corp. upper, and it was definately under 10". Bushmaster sells the stock. Yes, Elcan sight. Beta c-mag. Jaffa die!

I saw it, nice looking set up. I wish someone could post a pic.

Look at the stock again, if you get a chance. It was some sort of shortened thumbhole. BTW, the setup looked like shit.

What kind of stock is that?

At first glimpse, I thought it was a P90 because of the stock. After she moved around though I realized it was (I thought) an M4 variant. It really looked like the FN stock on the M16 though...

And I thought I was the only one who loved that show. Unfortunately I don't have cable, so I don't think I'll get to see that episode for a while. Personally I'm not a big fan of the way that particular setup she has there looks, but then again, it looks so right with her holding it.

I love it! A show with aliens, high tech shit, and the Air Force are the good guys! Maj. Carter can do no wrong in my book.

"GEN II Butt Stock Assembly, with Quick Detachable Sling Swivel Sockets on both sides, a Fulton Armory Exclusive!" No, that's got the sling swivel but the bottom doesn't match. It almost looks like a 1-piece stock and pistol grip

Are you sure? It looks as thought the buttstock has a hook to it and there is no pistol grip. The entire unit looks integral from the pics.

Obvisouly not since I addde the note about "No, the bottom looks different..." ;) Maybe it's a Hollywood job made from a thumbhole stock? There's a stock for the AR that is almost identical to the one on the Daewoo DR200 and it could be chopped up all sorts of ways. Wish they had a pic with more detail visible.

Don’t get too excited. I mean Stargate is really just a bunch of Canadians Actors playing U.S. Air Force Personnel filmed in Canada.

Man, Richard Dean Anderson is such a hypocrite. He's a rabid anti gunner from what I've heard. But I guess when it pays HIS way, it's okay, just not for the rest of us...

I'm thinking some sort of thumbhole or possibly a colt stock, they had a weird one at one time. I'd hate to fire that w/o earplugs!

There WAS a syntetic thumbhole stock that was offered by DPMS for awhile. Whether or not the models are still offered by DPMS I don't know. The stocks looked rather similar to that of the thumbhole stock you might see on a Springfield SAR 8. Freefloat tube looks more like the Olympic Arms FIRSH or whatever they call it.

Looks like the Bell & Carlson thumbhole AR stock. Except for the back of the "hole" should be more round. The pic sort of looks like there might some type of tac sling attachment wrapped through the back of the hole giving it a square appearance. You can see the B&C stock in the Brownell's catalog.

Who cares about the stock, [:D] what the hell is the lady doing with an Elcan on a M2 corp upper??

Looks like airsoft to me [;)]
