I'm sitting here enjoying a glass of Clan MacGregor.  But I'm wondering what others prefer.

To Highstrung1:

I and others, I'm sure, prefer you to keep your judgemental attitude to yourself.

WOW! A little to "high strung" I guess. A bit of debauchery is NOT a bad thing.

IBTL?

Also, please post pics of yourself assembling a stripped lower after downing half a bottle of scotch!  Make sure you get some good close ups because I want to see any potential marks on the lower receiver.

Sorry done playing with toys for the nite.  I glass of debauchery while winding down is all.  Though I might still be at it I had two more RR lower parts kits here.  Or my order of 1911 parts from Brownells.

Nothing fancy - Macallan 18 distilled in 1978.

The Macallan, 12 years old.  I've tried dozens of single malts, and The Macallan is the only one I've tried that I actually like.  I've never met a blended Scotch that I didn't find insipid and flavorless.  And while single malts often have some distinctive flavor, it tends to be a flavor of dirt and smoke that I fnd unappealing.  I'll take a cheap but well made Bourbon like Rebel Yell over almost any Scotch any day.

I've tried the 12YO in a side-by-side taste test with the 18 and the 25.  They were all quite good, and although the 12YO had a bit of an initial bite that the older stuff didn't, I found that I prefered it overall.

But since it's in the wrong forum, IBTL.

If there's any way to rescue my manhood; I drink it straight - no ice, mixing it for a margarita, nor any cream added. Manly enough for ya?

Maybe if you drank it straight from the bottle.  And opened the bottle by breaking it's neck.
