I suspect they are hard up for cash.

I agree with Jack. ACOG are selling for $200+ than they were 18 months ago when I bought mine. That's a hard profit to pass up for some people...hell, I've considered it and I don't need the money!.

I got a TA31 to try, but it turns out I like the TA11 better.

It is odd that for the past year or so you could not find any model TA31 for sale. If you did get lucky and find one, the seller wanted above retail for a NIB or full retail for used. Recently the availability is up and the prices seem closer to reality. Trust me, I'm not complaining! I finally picked myself up a NIB.

There seems to be a cycle tied to property taxes coming due. We'll see more stuff coming for sale as the holidays come around.

Then after April 15, we'll see a glut of buying - with the IRS tax refunds and all.

But shortly before tax day, we'll see prices drop a bit, people trying to get some cash together quick.

Before the war started, most people didn't know an A4GERY from a hole in the ground. Now everybody has to have one. Two years ago, you couldn't give an M5 RAS away... now you can't find one for under $325

Well, when I bought my M5 RAS two years ago the guy did have to pay me to take it .

The price of TA31s has gone up significantly in the last two years , it makes what I paid seem like a bargain...

CC bills for the AWB sunset frenzy are coming due.... ACOGs probably aren't in any danger of being banned, so why not liquidate them for now to pay for new rifles?
