Silver cap????

That's the new marking on the end of the barrels of real guns. If it is orange on the end of the barrel it is an airsoft.

i think it may be a thread protector

That silver cap is to hold in the silver bullets in your new Werewolf barrel

That's a mid-grade barrel. If you would have spent a bit more money you could have got the premium barrel with the gold cap.

Try it and find out. It sounds like a thread protector.

Justin I wasn't trying to be a smartass, but having pictures and a more thorough description would help.

A thread protector locktited on I might be worried about, It wouldn't by chance be a flash suppressor.

A thread protector that is loc-tited on... Hmm... that's pretty good thread protection. I guess they're protected all right if you can't use them.
Regardless, anyone with an unknown silver thing on the end of their premium, nearly $1000 rifle should immediately throw out the owner's manual (lest that should do something completely troublesome like provide accurate information) and set forth to prying said thingy off with a sharp object, and if that doesn't work, use a torch, vice and some locking pliers, or, if you're really industrious, like some members here, you'll get after it with a Dremel.

Hey buddy, you should learn how to spell a word before you use it.

Especially if the word is "retarded"

Where did you purchase the barrel from?
