My understanding is that this is the tube that goes between a turbo head and the M500 to make a M500B.

It was an "extra" that came with my M500a, and I won't be using it.  I want to put it up on EE, but don't know what to call it or what a fair price is.

Comments?

It looks like the Lamp Module Housing Body from the KM501 Conversion Kit.
It's an original rather than current version (it's not natural HA).
It has no individual part code although I'm sure it'll have a SureFire part number.
I'm not sure it has any real value outside the kit it was part of.

The KM501 features:
Millennium TurboHead with MN20 and MN21 Lamp Assemblies
MB20 Battery Magazine for six-SF123A batteries
and this Lamp Module Housing Body.

The KM501 converts the M500A/AB into the M500B.
(The KM500 converts the M500B into the M500A)
(The KT4 converts the M500A into the M500AB)

The KM501 new on SureFire.com costs $358.00
To get the Lamp Module Housing Body back up to speed on an M500A one would need:
MN20 = $31
MN21 = $33
MB20 = $98
KT4 = $195 (easiest way to get a Millennium TurboHead)
Total = $357

Of course you get get an M6 and use the components you need from that. SureFire.com has the M6 at $425. At least when you weren't using the KM501 kit on your M500, you can have a functioning flashlight with the components.

Another note is that the standard components are all natural HA rather than black but I'm not sure that really matters.

I thought you might say something like that.
Sorry.

The damn is not uttered in dissappointment... it's in your knowledge of every bit of Surefire minutiae.

You're Surefire's Roy Jinks!
