I want to put a small bipod on a middy with a FF 4 rail "barell shroud" . I've seen some pics of a few ways but some of them look awkward. I'd like the bipod mounted either directly to the rail or through a mount that doesn't stick out much at all from the rail. IS there a certain bipod or bipod + mount that is considered to be the lowest profile way to do this? Would a sling stud on the rail plus a Harris be the lowest profile option? I don't want to mount to the FSB and negate the advantage of my free float tube. I don't need the option to pivot the gun on the bipod but don't really mind that either if that's what it takes to get a low profile attachment. Thanks.
