Hey all, Im in a bind and need some quick cash. Im going to try and sell my AR at the local gunshow this weekend and wanted to see what the consensus is on a fair price.

Its a Bushmaster XM15 E2S with 16" barrel (I had the horribly loud factory muzzle brake cut off and a much quieter flash hider installed) with CAA 6 position stock. Im going to include a bunch of extras such as 5 30rd PMAGs, 3 original equipment 30 rd mags, 2 10 rd mags, a Viking VTAC 2pt sling, 4x scope, the original stock, soft case, various other accessories and about 300 rds of .223 ammo

The rifle has only had about 500 rounds total through it in its lifetime and is in excellent condition.

If you were shopping for a basic AR at a gunshow, what would you be willing to pay in todays market?

Thanks!

I hate to say this: there is going to be a bunch of ARs for sale, and $750 should be a good take for that. You might be better off selling it in parts in the EE. JMHO

I'd say $750 for the rifle, and maybe $1k for the package. I'd try to sell all the extra stuff separate, you'll get more money.

Yeah, this is about where Im at. I was thinking $1200 (stop laughing!) for the whole shebang but I wasnt sure how realistic that would be. As for selling everything separate, I know I could sell the PMags easily, but the sling and original A2 stock might not interest anyone..or am I thinking wrong?

No, not kidding. It is my experience that gun shows are for the AK-AR croug. everybody and their brother has one or five of them. With the economy the way it is and with the availibility og some parts in question- you may just see more ARs than you have in a long time. Sorry. Try to break it up in the EE

A2 stock and sling in the EE for 70 delivered as a set

Could have got a couple of grand 6-9 months ago. Buying is easy, knowing when to sell is hard.
