I'm thinking of picking up one of the new Cav Arms Mk II lowers.  But what to do with it?

Maybe a BM lightweight upper???  [:\]

What would you do?

one of mine (i'll probably have at least 4 total) will get a Bushmaster Superlight barrel on an A1/C7 upper with Trijicon nite sites.  nothing else.  that's gonna be the plain and simple superlight AR.
another one will get my new 14.5" Cav upper with 4MOA OKO in an SC4 (plus all kinds of other goodies hangin off it).
still need a 20", and a mid-length.....
i'm so psyched about the MKII lowers....

I'd probably do the exact same thing, but with the original slick sided (no FA, no case deflector) M16 upper.  I seem to recall another company offering AR15 barrels that had one even lighter in weight than the A1 profile Bushmaster Superlight.  Non chrome lined though [:(]

I've already got a flattop with no front sight and a 20" government profile barrel that's waiting on my lower to get as light a 20" as I can. Unfortunately the scope I got for it, an IOR, doesn't look like it will work with a flip up rear sight, darn it.

WHICH IOR scope did you get ??

(I'm looking at an IOR for my SEBR AR-10 carbine.)

Got it.
The IOR I'm checking out is BDC'd for 168grn, .308.

super lightweight 16" 1/7" twist (would go with a 10" SBR if i could legally own one here) with a mid length gas system
