Last time I checked, my optics had "reticules" and not "rectiles". I think a "rectile" is an side effect of a bathroom renovation gone bad.
Everyone I have ever heard of goes with the circle/dot reticule. |

I like the 65MOA ring. As long as the complete ring is within the window the sight is parralax free. Nice to know.

Optics don't have "reticules". The word is reticle. Before correcting someone make sure you are correct! |

 Yes, both are correct though reticle is the more common spelling. So how would you like your crow served, hot or cold?  Besides, it wasn't so much a correction as having fun with someone's typo. No harm, no foul.

ALL OF YOU ARE WRONG!, including the original poster. A "recticle" is something on a standard scope, denoted by etched glass or real wires, myself I prefer the new Gen II recticle from Preimer, but the older 3/4 mil-dot is what I learned ranging on, which I still use. On red-dot optics their simply "dot image styles" as there are NO wires or etched glass involved to make it a recticle "proper". my 2 cents, Mike |
