Hi Guys, I'd like to know what you shoot through your pistol cal AR for Fun and on a more serious note a tactical load for when things get ugly. So far for me I've been extremely trigger happy and have been using Winchester 115 FMJ at an alarming rate and will probably start reloading. I'm looking for recommedation on a defensive load. Thanks

I do most of my shooting WITH a suppressor, so I tend to stick to the 147 grn JHP's.
For use as a House gun, I keep a mag of the Aguilla 65 grn I.Q., which is COMPLETELY reliable in my Colt. This bullet is running around 1850 fps through my 10.5" barrel, and will not over penetrate. It's a really nasty round in a carbine. |

For serious my life or theirs.....
I like Federal Hydrashock 147gr in 9mm I like speer 165gr Gold dots in 40 S&W For plinking Cheap..... Walmart Value Packs in both calibers.... |

For my Oly 10mm carbine I keep a mag loaded with 20 rounds of Double Tap's 165gn Golden Sabers. These are rated at 1425fps out of a 4.6" Glock 20 barrel, but I haven't had a chance to clock them out of the Oly's 16" barrel. Should be exciting though!
