No it's a Bushmaster Assault Rifle.  They made them before they produced AR-15s.

It's literraly called the Bushmaster Assault Rifle.  Outgrowth of their 'arm rifle' that was really just a bullpup slash pistol setup.

Sorry - I was away yesterday...

Yes, it's mine and it's a great shooter.  I've had it for years & never had any problems out of it.  It came with both lowers in the picture (the upper is the serialized/registered receiver on this weapon - not the lower).  It uses AR mags, grips, and some internals - but the receivers, etc. are not compatible.

I didn't "buy" mine, so the cost question is a little convoluted - I traded a Beretta shotgun for it years ago (I had about $300 in the shotgun).  I don't have any idea what they go for these days.
