A.R.M.S. S.I.R. #3 ORIGINAL BOTTOM RAIL $44.00

I'm a new owner of an AR and would like to be able to attach maybe a bipod or a front hand grip but don't want to buy a new handguard.  Is this, or is there a rail made by someone, that is attachable to a standard, stock handguard?
BTW, this is a great site.  I appreciate the info supplied here.  I referenced two posts here to help me get my lower kit assembled.  Thanks!

ARMS makes different length rails....thats one of them.

The ARMS SIR is a free float rail system that replaces the original handguards. I would assume that this is the rail that was meant to go with the SIR system.

GGandG makes a universal rail that bolts to the underside of your stock handguards.
Adcofirearms.com sells them under the GGandG section.
