Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - What is the lightest Collapsible stock?

 I am looking for the lightest 6 position collapsible stock available. Can you guys help me out?

Based on the numbers here, the current (ribbed) M4-style stock is 4.4 oz.

I'm guessing the old-style CAR stocks are slightly lighter, maybe around 4 oz.
These should be compatible with the newer 6-position buffer tubes, as long as both (or neither) the stock AND tube are mil-spec.

Yes the original CAR fiberlight stocks are the lightest at 4.0oz.  The savings though is minimal (0.4 oz) so I'd say stick with the M4 type.
