The last time I purchases bulk 223 I bought 2700 rounds of the SA stuff from Sportsmans Guide 2 years back. I see they are out of stock now but are expecting more. What do you think? Is it likely they will restock?

Other than the 2700 round tub, what is the best deal around for decent ammo? I want at least 1000 rounds, I will buy more if buying more gets it to me cheaper.

do you guys think that the price jump for the SA still makes it a good deal? i dont remember exactly what the price was for the tub last time around but now it is 295 @ SG. plus it would cost about 35 dollars in shipping. wht do you think?

That's $ 122 per thousand (I think) for SA. Wolf will run you about $ 100 per thousand and XM193 will run about $ 180 per thousand. Is it worth $ 22/1000 over Wolf. I'd say it probably is although I have no problem shooting wolf personally.

It seems like decent plinking ammo. I remember last time I ordered it, I paid less than 11 cents a round, WITH SHIPPING. I used a coupon code to get like $20 off. I guess $295 + $35 is still only 12.2 cents a round. $122 per 1000. I think I just talked myself into an order!

Eric has LC XM193 for $189/1K, $358/2K. Loose in 1K cartons. May not be the cheapest, but a decent price for LC.
