Does anyone know the average gunsmithing price to cut a 16" barrel to 14" and permanently attach a muzzle brake? Also do most gunsmiths require you to just bring in the barrel stripped from the upper, just looking for the cheapest way to go about this. I want to put a DD lite 12.0 FSP on bushmaster M4 carbine upper with a permanently attached PWS FSC 556.  I guess that I would have to bring the gunsmith the rail cause the brake would have to go on last.
Thanks.
