Hey all.

Just wondering what is a normal range of the height of the front sight post using the 'ears' as measuring distances.

I shot the other day and my rifle was shooting 5" high @ 50-60 yds and climbing.  I adjusted my rear elevation all the way to the base of the upper and it was still that high.  Or I should say it was that hight after my adjustment.

I came home and raised the front sight post a little ways and now it is about 2-3mm from being level w/ the top of the 'ears'.  Is this normal?

Thanks.  Oh, btw--A2 sights.
