I ask, because in july's SWAT Magazine there is an article on the TA31TCO, and the author mentions that "the SAM/R was built by the Precisions Weapons Shop at Quantico, and has a stainless 1:7 free floated heavy match barrel, bipod, M16A1 trigger and a Mil-Std-1913 rail."

Thanks

In that context I would say he means "Safe-Semi-Auto". Where the M16A2 trigger would be "Safe-Semi-Burst."

IIRC, the M16A1 trigger is safe, semi, full auto while the M16A2 trigger is safe, semi and three round burst.
