I'm looking at buying a complete 6530 to get the lower. If I were to sell the upper separately, what would it be worth? The rifle is a pre-ban (for those unfortunates that live in certain states) and is brand new. A 6530 upper is 16" standard weight 1/7 twist with a fixed carry handle. I'd replace it with a 6721 upper. 16" HBAR 1/9 twist flat top.

What would be a fair price for the 6530 upper? What would be a fair price for a new 6721 upper?

I don't have a price for you.

JSYK - The upper isn't worth anything more than a new production just because it came off a preban rifle.  The lower receiver is the preban part, not the upper.
