On RRA website they say that there mid length A4 is .223/5.56 Nato chamber. So can anyone tell me what is it .223 or 5.56 Nato? I have been doing some research and I believe that these two calibers are not exactly the same size... right?

you can shoot a 223 out of a 556 chambered weapon, but you can't shoot a 556 out of a 223.  that's why it says both.  Hope that helped

Right:

all 5.56 will shoot either.  A .223 will only shoot the .223

RRA uses a Wylde chamber so both will work.

On our Varmint A4 the site is specific about .223 Wylde chamber.  On our Elite Comp the site says .223/5.56 NATO under chamber specs.  I wonder why there's a difference?  I couldn't find a definite answer on the RRA site.

5.56 nato chambering for chrome moly and chrome lined barrels.  Wylde chambering for SS barrels.
