I just got an email from a friend that his store just received HSM .223 ammo at $205 a case. Has anybody ever heard of HSM?

thanks,
Ron

Sure, that's a quality outfit, they're out of Missoula MT IIRC....A whole slew of local PD's and SD's use them for practice ammo (Not the most ringing endorsment...I know) but every round I've fired of their has been a quality cartridge, and a damn decent price.

I can't really tell by their website, but do they use ALL new components or is made on once-fired brass? If the stuff is all new components on modern machinery, then I might try it.

The photo of the guys wearing Realtree camo and loading ammo on Dillon presses does make me a tad cautious about buying this stuff though.

thanks,
Ron

I've seen HSM amm on the fireing line of some Highpower matches. Actually, the only commercial amm I've seen has been Fed Gold Medal, Black Hills, and HSM, so that should give you a good idea of what kind of quality it is.
