Looks great I like the Colt stock (it costs a little more but I think it is a better product.)
You might have issues, with that mount and your new SIR, the SIR adds 4/10 of an inch to mounting height, your Aimpoint might not co-whitness. |

When I put the SIR on there I'll either take out the spacer or go with the bi-level. It's a post ban rifle (if you look hard you can see the pin through the stock) I would hate to have to do that with a colt stock. I'm thinking of going with a sheleton stock.

Nevertheless that is a Colt new style stock. Same pattern. It might be Colts post ban stock- I haven't seen one of the Colt sporter collapsible look stocks yet (maybe you know who made it).
Yeah it looks like a preban rifle, that is a great looking gun for a postban. |

Thanks guys. It was expensive enough as a POST-BAN for me not to even think about me buying a PREBAN! Im hoping for the best in September. Im only a college student so PREBAN is out for now.

Yea I see what you mean, it especially looks canted in that one photo. No I have it in there as close to perfect as possible. I agree with you AK a new grip is a must.

Well, the grip thing is just me, some people actually prefer the standard grip - it works for them, that's all a matter of one's hand and personal preferences. If the grip works good for you, no need to change it just for looks [;)]
Man, I thought maybe it could just be the cap covers creating a canted illusion, but when I stick my ruler up against the edge of the body, it's still cocked. WEIRD!!! |
