The Warlord rig by HSGI is a variation of their other chest rigs, as posted. Many military guys and collectors have bought alot of HSGI gear and it is known for being made very well. If you are satisfied with the same pockets always  in the same place, it is an appropriate choice.

The Wasatch is a 're-design' (the nicest way I know how to say it) of a great piece of gear originally made a former West Pointer and Special Forces guy named Jim Cragg out of L.A. (Jim runs a company called Special Operations Technologies and designs and manufacturers very high quality tactical gear). The concept is sound because SO Tech did a very good job of designing it; and HSGI made a few minor updates to accomodate a unit who may want to field it and contacted them instead. The concept of this style of rig is sound to me because I think you will find rifle plates worn over concealed armor (instead of heavy 'body bunker'  entry body armor) much more popular as it starts to catch on. Adding the ingeneous 'Hellcat' chest pouch internal mag slots to the plate carrier is a great step to a totally useful system.

I like HSGI's leg drop mag pouch. Nice suspension, good construction, and adding an off-hand knife draw is a nice touch. Of the new products from these guys, brought to the web's attention in this post, this one is the one that I am most impressed with.
