"Handguard cap", thanks.
Next question: The barrel originally had triangular handguards, that's why I need to replace the handguard cap for the new symetrical ones. Will the handguard slip ring be compatible, or were those different as well? |

if this is a 20 inch barrel you dont have to change the handguard cap or the delta ring. Just change the handguards.

It is a 20-inch barrel, but the handguard cap is definately triangular, not round. Is there something I'm missing? |

It is pretty cool. Little nubs on the front of the handguards fit the handguard cap, interchangeable either top or bottom.
